I purchased the Orange Holiday with SMS/calls at the time when 20gb was the max. It worked flawlessly in รŽle-de-France, Bordeaux Metro, Saint Emilion, and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. On 10 days of heavy use, I was able to use all my app, software updates, GPS without running out of data. Also knowing that I had unlimited calls and SMS to all of EU and a small allotment to call back to US in an emergency was great. Now that they have upped the plans to a max of 50gb, I know I can rely on them should I be back to France and travel the rest of Europe.

Price per GB ain't cheap but expires in a year. So itโ€™s a great option if you dont use a lot of data. It routes your connection so there is latency and some websites might create a problem thinking youโ€™re using a VPN.

They have a Pay as You Go where the eSim does not expire. The price per GB is expensive ($3.50 for US) but it's my favorite since I can use the same data for a whole year if I want to. I use their eSim just for texting, Maps and calling the Uber from the airport. This is the best if you don't use a lot of data because it doesn't expire. Another downside is the connection is routed thru Poland, which ads latency.

AirAlo seems to be the best service. If you get a good discount, it is great. If you're traveling, it is the one you can trust. If it was more affordable, it would be my only option.

I purchased the Orange Holiday 20gb plan directly through travel.orange.com. This was an easy set up to get my partner and I data access via the ESIM as soon as we landed. We even had 5G in some places in France. Outside of Paris, we used data in La Rochelle, Niort, Bordeaux, St. Emilion, and Reims. Phone call minutes came in handy to confirm hotel reservations and call restaurants. Averaged about 20mb up and 30 down.

I tried Redteago esim plan on my trip to Seoul. The convenience of the esim plan was fantastic. I simply activated the esim on my device with a few simple steps which saved me from the stress of finding a local provider and allowed me to stay connected immediately upon arrival in South Korea. Throughout the trip I had seamless connectivity. Purchasing an esim is the ultimate enabler for a hassle-free mobile experience when travelling.

I tried Redteago eSim plan in Japan and I must say that the convenience of an eSIM is unparalleled. Rather than physically swapping SIM cards every time I change countries, I simply activated the eSIM on my device with a few easy steps. It saved me from the stress of locating and purchasing a physical SIM card (specially because I was arriving late at night). The coverage was consistent across various neighborhoods of Tokyo and even in more remote areas during my 1-day trips to nature. I never experienced any significant drop in signal strength or call quality during my time there.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Redteago eSIM plan for South Africa. The experience was incredibly convenient and reliable. One thing to note is that I found it beneficial to change the network selection settings from automatic to a specific network provider. By doing so, I was able to enhance my experience. For example, selecting a specific network provider enabled me to enjoy faster data speeds with 4G connectivity instead of being limited to slower 3G networks. It's a simple adjustment that significantly improves the overall performance and browsing experience.

I recently used RedTeaGO app during my trip to several European countries from Hong Kong, and I must say that my experience was excellent. The prices were affordable, and the network was quite stable throughout my trip. I found the app easy to use and had no issues whatsoever. Overall, I would recommend RedTeaGO to anyone traveling abroad and looking for a reliable and cost-effective way to stay connected.

I am providing feedback after receiving excellent customer service from AirHub. Although I experienced some issues when attempting to activate my purchased plan for the Thailand eSIMs, the support team was fantastic and provided me with a solution. This marks my third plan with AirHub's eSIM service, and I am very happy with the service they offer. However, the only drawback was the wait time to receive support due to a long and busy queue.

I purchased Airhub shortly before my trip to the USA (New York) a week ago. The esim-service was not working at all. The documentation on the website & app is bad. Furthermore there are no service videos where you can look at e.g. YouTube. There Customer service is super slow and forced me to contact the Telco carrier direct because of my Pixel 7pro. I ask for a refund put no chance. Please do not use the service. I used than an alternative called Airalo. That service is easy to use.

They call it โ€˜instant access for 24hโ€™ and start charging right away. But in fact, the instructions or not clear, they donโ€™t react to support request, they donโ€™t inform you that your ID has to be uploaded, they donโ€™t inform you that it has to be reviewedโ€ฆ they donโ€™t, donโ€™t, donโ€™t. What they do? Start charging you without you having internet access. It is a scam.

I purchased an 20GB eSIM from Airalo for my trip to South Africa. Installation process is very easy using their app. I used a lot Google Maps, Waze and Uber, as well as Facetime and WhatsApp to send lots of videos and pictures. And it's cool that you can track the amount of data left in the app. Overall, I would definitely recommend Airalo eSIMs. Only 4 stars because no 5G only 4G ;)

Do not get close to Airhub. They cheat! They ask about travel dates of the plan, you pay for the period and get QR code. They do not inform that if you scan at home the code the esim is activated and the validity starts long before you actually need it. No way to abort it. So I paid in vain.

I used Airalo and Nomad in Hokkaido when I was visiting Japan. Here is my review for Airalo. I had a great experience overall: setup of the eSIM was very smooth, but I was a bit disappointed with bandwidth speeds eventhough it was acceptable. I purchased Airalo's Moshi Moshi 1GB plan which is only compatible in Japan and is a data-only plan. The good : - Airalo's user experience is very good. The eSIM setup was very simple and was mostly about clicking on buttons through the entire process. - I was able to roam on the NTT Docomo network in 4G, which is really efficient in Japan. I did a few tests and was about to get roughly 80.6MBS download and 8.6MBS upload speeds. So great download speeds. Upload speeds could have been better. Airalo also advertised the eSIM as compatible with KDDI (another network provider) but I did not try it. The bad : - Too bad I did not get 5G it was a bit frustrating because my phone is 5G compatible. - Since Airalo is not a local network, my internet traffic was routed through Singapore, which is a bit far from Japan - so latency was not the best

I tried both Airalo and Nomad when I was visiting Japan , here is my review for Nomad. The experience was overall very good. Too bad the plan did not offer 5G. What I liked : - Although I had to copy and paste my eSIM information manually the setup instructions were very simple and well explained. - The plan worked well and offered good speeds. I was able to get 69.2MBS download speed and 18.3MBS upload speed while I did my test in Sapporo downtown. What I did not like : - It's a bit unfortunate I was not able to get 5G while 5G was available in Sapporo - Since Nomad is not a local network, my internet was roaming through Honk Kong (I guess where Nomad server is). It was not a big issue but added an extra bit of latency.
